What to Wear in NYC- Early April Weather

My first spring outfit of the year! I’m so excited because I’ve been head over heels for my new top shop jeans and had this spring image of them stuck in my head. I’m so pumped to finally show them off in these pictures. NYC in 60 degree weather gave me life!

One of the first things I do before I travel somewhere is check out the weather for each season. It’s so hard to know what to wear during these midseason changes. If you’re coming in early April, you should definitely get out your best jeans, a light sweater or a cute top matched up with a light jacket, and since it’s also rainy in the beginning of April, I’d also bring items you could wear in the rain too. However, once that rain is gone, you’ll definitely want your favorite sunglasses to complete the look. You’ll get a good 60/70 degree weather, especially the later you come in April. There are always “off” days that like to sit in the 50s, but for the most part, April in the city is a pretty awesome break from the freezing winter.

These Keds sneakers are so old but they always look so cute and comfy, I still wear it for warm weather. Jeans and sneakers are my new favorite trend obsession. I want more!!

Mom jeans are everything! I have never ever liked jeans, but I seriously am obsessed with these ones. A good option for girls with some bigger hips. If you’re not a fan of jeans, I suggest trying these on. You can find them here.

I also recently cut my hair and I’ve never had it this short before! I’m having a lot of fun playing around with it and putting it up in cute buns. Curling it was way harder than I thought it was going to be, but I think it looks pretty cute.

This shirt is from express. I love everything from express but it can be a little expensive. I found this sweater with cute shoulder cut outs in the sales bin. Express doesn’t have sales too often but when they do, I guarantee you’ll find several high quality items that’ll last you a long time.

I’m on the hunt for new sunglasses. I borrowed these Liz Claiborne sunglasses from my roommate and I thought it really tied the outfit all together. I forgot how much of a difference a pair of sunglasses can make. New sunglasses are definitely on my summer must-have list. Anyone else super excited for spring/summer shopping?

Dream Big,
