Miami Spice – Paris 6 Lunch

It’s here! Miami Spice is on until the end of September! This is the best invention if you’re a foodie (which I am). Miami’s best restaurants partake in this special and each create their own three course prefix menu for Lunch ($23.00) & Dinner ($40.00).

For my first Miami Spice review I went to Paris 6 for lunch. Since I was looking for something available on Sunday at around 3:00pm, this was a great option with several choices on the Miami Spice menu.Β Paris 6 is a Brazilian and Parisian bistro located in South Beach. The atmosphere is very different for South Beach but it’s the perfect addition to this touristy area.

Now let’s talk about the food!

As soon as you arrive you receive a bread basket and pao de queijo, traditional Brazilian cheese bread.

First course was the Caprese Salad with Burrata Burrata (sliced tomatoes topped with mixed greens, creamy burrata cheese, basil and extra virgin olive oil) and Tomatoes appetizer. WOW – so good! My friend chose the CrΓ¨me Tomate Au Ravioli de Chevre. This was a creamy tomato soup with a couple of goat cheese stuffed ravioli and a touch of evoo, fresh basil and fine slices of parmesan cheese.

For my entre I chose the Wild Salmon a la Sauce Hollandaise with Heart Palm Risotto. The grilled salmon fillet was topped with creamy hallandaise sauce, served over a creamy risotto made with tender heart of palm. Another win!

My friend chose the Filet de Branzino Grille a la Meuniere. The branzino was lightly sautΓ©ed in a capers and butter sauce, served with grilled sweet potato. A great healthier option too!

Now my favorite part of every meal… dessert!

Paris 6 is known for their desserts worldwide and it’s seriously THE BEST! I chose mine from the Miami Spice menu since it’s included, however my friend decided to choose one of their famous Petit Gateau and pay extra. But look at it, it’s so worth it!

My dessert was the Profiteroles de Dulce de Leche. This french puff pastry was filled with dulce de leche, have vanilla ice cream, was topped with chocolate ganache, peanut butter flour and had a base of dulce de leche.
