Life is so unpredictable! When Bela and I started this blog a year ago, I started my career as an entrepreneur. I was working full time with my families business and focusing on the restructuring of our sales teams and expanding the offices. Fast forward to a year, I realized that although there are so many benefits of being “your own boss”, there are a few cons.
I discovered that I missed working in Hospitality, but I also knew I would never adapt to the resort work environment again. I didn’t want a job in a resort where I would work weekend and holidays, work way more than 40 hours a week with an outrageous level of stress.
So what did I want?
I made a list of what my “dream job” would be and started applying based on the below criteria’s.
- Hospitality field
- A fast growing company
- A corporate setting; 9-5 job
- In Downtown Miami
- Great benefits
- A company that I believed in the value and culture
- Possibility of Travel
After four months of praying, researching and applying, I found what I was looking for – the worlds leading spa and skincare expert. At the time that I was applying they were hiring for their new office in the US, which happens to be in Miami! How perfect is that?! Seriously an answered prayer!
Fast-forward to a lot of interview phases, I am proud and thrilled to announce that I have joined this International team and will be working in their first US office! It’s an exciting time in my life and I can’t wait to share with all of you this next season. The best is truly yet to come!
